Associate Artistic Director
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks seeks a charismatic, community-centered leader to serve as Associate Artistic Director (AAD). The position is instrumental in assisting with the oversight and facilitation of the day-to-day operations of MSIP while supporting mission-driven values and goals in production and programming. Working in concert with the Executive Artistic Director (EAD) the AAD is expected to maintain excellent communications with artists, staff and community members to manage the flow of information, allotment of resources and management of the season. As a key member of the senior management team, the AAD works closely with all departments to help set and articulate strategies for artistic quality, advancing fundraising, marketing, audience development and production goals in line with MSIP’s mission and community centered values. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, energetic, curious and positive professional who operates from a multifaceted point of view and skill set, bringing a strong passion for community engagement through the lens of relevant storytelling and cultural integration.

2024 Season Auditions
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks (MSIP) is holding auditions for its 2024 season and is seeking non-union actors for its two unique touring programs: Shakespeare in the Parks, and Shakespeare in the Schools (SIS). MSIP offers competitive salaries, housing, and per diem while on tour.

Tour Coordinator
Bring MSIP To Your Community
Montana Shakespeare in the Parks relies on the generosity of over 60 volunteer tour coordinators to bring our Summer Parks Tour to each community. Tour coordinators are the lifeblood of our organization, and they secure performance locations, assist with local marketing efforts, bring refreshments for the actors, and more.
