Montana Shakespeare in the Parks invites artists, students, designers, and Shakespeare lovers to create an original poster inspired by our mission: bringing free, live Shakespeare to communities across Montana. The Ultimate Winner will be featured in MSIP promotional materials and sold at performances across a 5-state region.

2026's Poster Contest Winner!

Congratulations to the 54th Season's Grand Prize winner Diane Haas from Eugene, OR!

Diane's artwork will be featured on this year's season commemorative poster and will travel to 65 communities across the Rocky Mountain West.

"Montana Shakespeare in the Parks has been inspiring communities for 54 years. The captivating performances have the ability to transport audiences from their favorite local park to enchanted forests in England or the atmospheric canals of Venice, Italy. The Staff Favorite Award goes to Clare Daley of West Yellowstone for her piece, In-Between Two Worlds!

"MSIP uniquely breaks down the barriers of audience vs. actors when the actors roam the crowd, making the story feel larger than life when it's not confined to a stage. I wanted to create a work that highlighted their skill in straddling the two worlds of fiction and reality as they step off the stage and into all corners of the state." -Clare

THE MISSION of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks is to engage and enrich both rural and underserved communities with professional productions of Shakespeare and other classics and, through educational outreach, to inspire creative expression and appreciation of the arts in young audiences.
