Avery Johnson
Avery earned a BFA in Theater Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2023. He joins the fall company for the first time after playing Florizel in The Winter’s Tale and various roles in Hamlet this summer. Other recent credits include Kit Marlowe in Richmond Shakespeare’s East Coast Premier of Liz Duffy Adams' Born With Teeth, Longaville in the same company's production of Love Labour's Lost, Jack in The Importance of Being Earnest (VCU Theatre), D’Artagnan in last summer's production of The Three Musketeers (Montana Shakespeare in the Parks), El Eterno Femenino (Firehouse Theatre), and Teak in the World Premier of Signature Theatre DC’s The Spoken Word. Off stage Avery plays Rocket League, soccer, and tinkers with computers.
